Small Maintenance savings
or little things you can do yourself.

Small Maintenance savings or little things you can do yourself. Small maintenance savings is just like putting money in your bank's saving account .

You are saving on little easy do it yourself things.

This example will give you an idea.

Let's say every time you shower in your bath or shower, the tub always fills slowly until you have water ankle high, that is very annoying.

It also takes sometimes more than half an hour after you are finished before all the water is drained.

Your drain is clogged.

What causes that situation?

Most of this clogging is caused by the girl's long hair.
When they wash their long hair, some of it fall and mix with shampoo and soap. It does not drain well and clogs in the S drain right under the tub.

What to do?

If your are not a very good handyman, you will call the plumber to fix it.
At sometimes more than $100.00 per hour, it will be quite expensive just for cleaning the drain and unclogged it.

Is there another solution?

Do it yourself, you do not have to be a professional to clean and unclogged your drain.

Try this: If you have a water pressure-washing machine, use it. If not, borrow one from your neighbor.
Use it to pressure wash and unclog your drain.
In less time that it takes to install the pressure washing machine, your drain will unclog.

Another way is to buy at your local hardware store, a small can of pressurized cleaning agent. Try that if you do not have a pressure washing machine handy.

You saved $100.00 and maybe more. Put this amount in your bank's saving account! That is a good example of small maintenance savings.

To prevent further clogging, buy a strainer at your local hardware store, put it on top of the drain and clean it every time you shower and wash your hair.
You will be amazed at the amount of hair it will filter.
