Franchise business
Your business

Have you ever thought about acquiring your own franchise business?

What is a franchise business ?

It is a business that already has a trademark.

That is the main reason people would buy a franchise from a franchiser.

They have a trademark, brand names and are already well established in the business world.

It is usually much easier to build your business on somebody else's trademark, if the brand names are well known, your chances of success are greatly increased.

Why is that? Imagine a fast food chain that is known internationally. You profit from their trademark instantly.

You already have many potential customers. It is much easier to build goodwill that way instead of starting your own business yourself and try to implement your own brand names.

Success guarantied?

Buying a franchise business does not mean that you will have instant success.

Like any business, if you want to succeed, you will have to know the trade you are about to do business in.
You will have to be prepared to work hard and have a good business understanding.

The good thing about franchise business is that the franchiser when he is serious will support you from the first time you meet him with the intention of being a franchise operator under their trademark.

They will at first glance see if the market may be sufficient to operate a franchise business in the area you want to. They will give you an idea of the population needed to succeed with their type of business.

Market survey.

If it looks possible at first, they will initiate a market survey and as far as the large franchisers are concerned, you will get the real picture.

These larger companies do not like to put up a franchise business that they will be forced to close in the short term. When it is a smaller company, beware of their market survey it could be a bit optimistic.
If the business turns sour, they will not lose, but you will.

conditions.

There are many conditions that you will have to adhere to when signing to acquire a franchise.

The bigger the franchiser, the higher the initial price of getting or renting their trademark.

You will probably have to buy most of the products that you will use in your franchise business from the franchiser.

You will have to follow all the pricing determined by them on the products you would sell even if you loose on them from time to time.

You will pay for part of advertising and have to adhere to many other conditions.

Support.

On the other hand, they will fully support you, train you and your staff with continuous training programs.

They want you to make money, if you do, they will do too.
